London is one of my favourite cities to live, work and travel. As you may already realised if you have followed my blog long enough, I love gardens or anything floral and romantic. If you are a garden lover, London is the place for you! There are plenty of gardens to choose from, and many of them are for free! Without further ado, I present you my favourite parks to visit in London Town!
1. Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is a royal botanic garden with the world's largest living plants collection. The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew was founded in 1759 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. Kew Gardens is one of London’s top visitor attractions and Wakehurst, our second garden in West Sussex, is home to Kew’s Millennium Seed Bank. Apart from the plants, the garden features many other amenities such as the treetop's walkway, Sackler Crossing, plant houses, ornamental buildings. Kew Palace and several galleries and museums.

2. Hampton Court

Hampton Court Palace is a royal palace in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Greater London, in the historic county of Middlesex, and within the postal town East Molesey, Surrey; it has not been inhabited by the British Royal Family since the 18th century. The Palace was originally built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, a favourite of King Henry VIII, as Wolsey fell from favour, the palace was passed to the King, who enlarged it.
Hampton Court Palace itself is very rich in history, but my favourite part of this place is the gardens. There is the maze, the main Privy garden and a rose garden! One more thing to add to your curiosity, Hampton Court has the oldest tennis court in the world! It is not like those modern one that you are used to, it is an indoor Tudor tennis court! Another thing to look out for is its annual music festival held in one of the courts. My favourite is the orchestral performance by the Royal Philharmonic and they always have fireworks after the show.

Without a doubt, Hyde Park is one of the most famous parks among tourists in London! Guess what, it is also one of the largest parks in London! The park is divided in two by the Serpentine and the Long Water. The park is also contiguous with Kensington Gardens. Sites of interest in the park include Speakers' Corner, the Diana, Princess of Wales memorial, Kensington Palace (which locates in Kensington Gardens and London's Holocaust Memorial. A botanical curiosity is the Weeping Beech. Opposite Hyde Park Corner stands one of the grandest hotels in London, The Lanesborough at Stanhope Gate.

Greenwich is one of my favourite parts of London. It is vibrate, relaxing and beautiful! I love having pinic on the Greenwich Park slope, over looking the magnificent architectures of Greenwich University and the skyline of Canary Wharf. The view is just breath taking! On the top of the hill, there is the Royal Observatory which played a major role in history of astronomy and navigation, and is best known as the location of the prime meridian.

Richmond Park is famous for its deer! Richmond Park is a park, a national nature reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation in south-west London. The largest of London's Royal Parks, it is included, at Grade I,on English Heritage's Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England.
