My Dubai Adventure
07:39Dubai is the most populous city of the United Arab Emirates. It is also the home of Emirates Airline, one of my favourite airlines to fly with. I have been to Dubai so many times for flight transit and only recently had a chance to actually visit the city. Only 25 years ago, Dubai was a small town in a desert of UAE. With the help of the immense revenue generated by oil, this city is now one of the most advanced and developed in the world.
Downtown Dubai
Downtown Duabi contains everything that you could imagine of a city, high rise buildings, shopping malls, hotels... But they are no normal attractions. Dubai has the tallest building, biggest shopping mall and some of the most expensive hotels in the world. Dubai also has plenty of local and international restaurants for you to choose! From the very American Cheesecake Factory to Lebanese restaurants and local specialties... you name it!| Photo: Serafina S. |

The Souks
A trip in the Souks is a nice way to get a glimpse of Middle East taste and culture. The Spice, Textile and Gold Souks have something for everyone and is a great place to get some souvenirs to take home. People in the market are extremely friendly and accommodating. But of course, don't forget to bargain and get some good deals!| Photo: Serafina S. |

The Safari Excursion
If you have never been to a Safari/ Desert, this experience is perfect for you! Most of the excursions offer sand dune bashing, camel riding, belly dancing show and dinner buffet. We picked +Arabian Adventures Dubai and absolutely loved it! The buffet dinner was in a Bedouin style camp with salad, grilled meat, sweets, Shisha and unlimited beverages.| Photo: Serafina S. |

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary
This Flamingo park is a very under-rated attraction. Only 10 minutes drive from downtown Dubai, you can experience Flamingo watching in a saline lagoon with the city skyline.| Photo: Serafina S. |
