My Dubrovnik Adventure
08:30Dubrovnik is Croatia's southernmost city, locating on the Adriatic Sea. This city was once an independent state and an important Mediterranean maritime merchant states in 14th to 17th century. Today, its breathtaking views, historic walls, natural wonders, and of course, the Game of Thrones shooting sights attract tourists all over the world.
Ancient City Wall
The Medieval City Walls surrounding the city were built hundreds of years ago. Its complexity and characteristic appearance make it one of the most important fortification systems on the Mediterranean. It takes approximately 1 hour to walk all the walls. From the west side of the wall, you will be able to view the most notably Fort Lovrijenac and Minceta Tower which both appear in the Game of Thrones. Entry ticket costs 100 Kuna.| Photo: Serafina S. |

The Old Town
The old town of Dubrovnik is surrounded by ancient medieval city walls. The main entrance is at the Pile Gate which is right behind the main bus terminal. Right after you enter the gate, you will see the first attraction, Large Onofrio's Fountain and Stradun. As you walk down the street, you will find the Church of St. Blaise, Retor's Palace and Sponza Palace in front of you.| Photo: Serafina S. |

Island Hopping
If you have an extra whole day to spend in Dubrovnik. We suggest joining a local tour to explore nearby islands and get a taste of the southern Dalmatian. In a full day tour, you will explore the lemon and orange garden of Kolocep, 15th century ruins on Sipan and beaches of Lopud. These tours are very reasonably priced and usually include a grilled lunch and unlimited drinks. The one we joined cost 250 Kuna (including lunch, drinks and return transport to our hotel).| Photo: Serafina S. |
