My Mauritius Adventure

06:35

Mauritius is an island near the Africa continent. This island does not merely offer resort and beaches, this island is packed with culture, food, adventure and many more.

This country is a nation of immigrants. Its official language is English, but most people speak French and Mauritian Creole. This island was once occupied by Dutch, French and English which explains the multiple languages and cultures in-bedded in Mauritians lives.

I was there attending a wedding. My friend was very kind to bring us around and showed us the best of Mauritius.

Mauritius Beaches

A good portion of the island is surrounded by reef. This creates a beautiful and safe environment for various water sports. To name a few, Flic en Flac, Belle Mare Plage, Le Morne and many more...

Best way experience the most of Mauritius is to rent a villa and a car. The roads and highways are very safe and developed, and the locals are super friendly. This way, you can experience the real Mauritius and avoid many tourist traps.

Mauritius Waterfall

Still cannot get enough of the nature landscape that this country has to offer? Did you know Mauritius has some of the most spectacular waterfalls (land and ocean) on this planet?

Chamarel Waterfall locates in the village of Chamarel and Black River Gorges National Park. The water falls by 95 meters along a vertical cliff. If you are feeling adventurous, water sports can be organised with professionals service provider!

In the ocean, there is also the reknown Mauritius Waterfall in the ocean. This stunning 'underwater waterfall' is in fact an illusion of sands and silt deposits.
