A day in San Francsico

07:52

San Francisco is a easy city to love. Although traffic could be frustrating at time, the city by the bay is easy to get around with public transport. Not to mention the infamous cable car system bringing you up and down this hilly city.

Starting from the Union Square, we took a  tram uphill then a stroll to the Coit Tower in search the best view of the city. That did not disappoint us... the 360 degree view of the city is worth every penny and sweat!

Next, we headed down to the infamous pier 39 at the Fisherman Wharf to look for the cute sea lions sunbathing on the decks. While you are in that part of the town, don't miss out the sweet little zig zag Lombard Street.

After the Lombard Street, we headed straight to Palace of Fine Art Theatre. Although the theatre was not open on the day we visited, the exterior is pretty enough for all the Instagram photos to show our friends back home.

You cannot leave San Francisco without having a picture with the Golden Gate Bridge. The best views are from Fort Point, Battery Spencer and Presidio Park. All of these places are easy access and have some great hiking spots. But this round, we headed for the Crissy Field East Beach which is right next to the Fine Arts Theatre.

I can't even describe how tired we were after whole day of walking. Having said that, it is definitely doable and it was one of the greatest experiences we have had so far in this road trip.
