This is a gem of the Peak District, England. Chatsworth House is a stately home in Derbyshire. Standing on the east bank of the River Derwent, Chatsworth looks across to the low hills that divide the Derwent and Wye valleys. The house, set in an expansive parkland and backed by wooded, rocky hills rising to heather moorland. It contains a unique collection of priceless paintings, furniture, Old Master drawings, neoclassical sculptures, books and other artefacts. What to do?
Chatsworth House has everything you need for a nice day out. A fantastic restaurant, beautiful garden, walking trail, family farm and a museum.
The Garden
The 105 acre garden has evolved for 450 years to the form of today. The famous cascade is over 300 years old and it is a trough waterfall in the rockery and the enormous gravity-fed Emperor fountain. In addition, the garden has many sculptures, maze, greenhouse and even a coal tunnel for you to explore!

How to get there?
It was quite a journey as I chose to go by public transport. I took a train to Chesterfield then a taxi ride to the House.
Public Transport
1. Train to Chesterfield -> 20 mins taxi (around GDP 15-20)
2. Train to Chesterfield -> Bus 215 or 170 to Baslow then 2km walk via public footpath to the venue
